Carolyn Loton

Director
Carolyn Loton is an experienced marketing and sales specialist and the founder of Juntos Marketing. Carolyn’s areas of expertise include:

      • Brand management and brand development;
      • Consumer research;
      • Strategic and marketing planning;
      • Key account management and category management;
      • Direct selling and business development;
      • Sales team development; and
      • Project management

 At Juntos Marketing she works with organisations of all types and sizes across a range of industry sectors, particularly financial services, consumer goods, and health and aged care. Before launching the firm in 2006, Carolyn held executive positions in marketing and sales at some of Australia’s largest consumer goods companies, including Simplot Australia, Uncle Tobys, Goodman Fielder and Nestle. There she worked on many market-leading brands, including Nanna’s, Herbert Adams and 4N’20 Pies, Edgell, Leggo’s, Birdseye, Uncle Tobys and Country Cup.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from Edinburgh University, as well as a Diploma in Marketing and Bachelor of Applied Science. Carolyn’s original background was in the health sector as an Occupational Therapist. She has been an active member of the Marketing Women Association and was one of their regular mentors for more than four years. She has been a member of the NSW Cancer Council Regional Advisory Committee (Central and South Sydney Region) since 2008 and is also a regular lecturer at Sydney University’s Continuing Education Centre.

Gai Berry

Office and Training Manager

Gai Berry has more than 15 years’ experience in business administration and over 10 years’ experience in marketing. Gai coordinates Juntos Marketing’s training programs, provides practical support on marketing projects and handles all office administration.

Before joining the firm, she worked for Mobil Oil Australia where she began as a personal assistant and then studied marketing while gaining experience as a retail administrator, field marketer and, later, a territory manager. She also brings expertise in the medical and building industries from her previous work in Australia and the United Kingdom.

More recently, Gai has worked in a voluntary capacity with Asian Women at Work, undertaking research and statistical analysis to present to the Department of Immigration.  She holds an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management.

 

               Belinda Thomas

Marketing and Communications Executive

Belinda Thomas has nearly 20 years’ experience in marketing and communications, with a particular focus on the insurance and retail industries during the past decade. Belinda manages and develops marketing strategies, plans and materials for many of our clients.

Before joining Juntos Marketing she oversaw the marketing of the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame, where she developed particular expertise in database management. Belinda held management roles at Insurance Australia Group, where she was responsible for a range of traditional and online marketing projects, activities and events for its NRMA, SGIO and SGIC brands. Belinda worked across the full marketing mix as manager of the launch of Sydney’s Broadway Shopping Centre and increased membership of Sydney City Marketing four-fold during her time as marketing coordinator of the retail body.

She is also experienced in marketing not-for-profit organisations, having worked for the Royal Blind Society, and is an active volunteer in various community, sports and school organisations.

Belinda holds as Diploma of Marketing Research from Charles Sturt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Canberra.

 Jean Bennett

Marketing and Communications Executive

Jean Bennett has more than seven years’ experience in marketing within the wine, transport and retail industries. Jean develops marketing strategies, plans and materials for many of Juntos Marketing’s clients.

Before joining Juntos Marketing she managed the marketing and branding of Turners Crossing Vineyard, where she devised and implemented the company’s Australian and international marketing and communication plans; developed and launched the company’s new global website; maintained all databases and social media; handled all public relations and product launches; and produced and distributed a range of tailored marketing material.

 At the transport technologist Minorplanet Asia Pacific she worked across the entire marketing mix to manage and plan the company’s traditional and online activities. She held similar roles at the beauty and fashion houses L’Occitane Australia and Von Troska, where she managed both company’s extensive marketing and communications efforts.

 Jean holds a Masters of Business (Marketing) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Communications (Information) from the University of Technology Sydney. She has studied French linguistics in Tours, France and has sailed Sydney 38 and Etchell class yachts competitively for many years.

Jessica Clayton

Graduate Marketing Coordinator

Jess Clayton graduated from Macquarie University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in marketing. Jess joined Juntos Marketing towards the end of her studies and has amassed an impressive portfolio of professional experience since that time. She maintains and schedules training programs, oversees our website and social media activities, evaluates our Google analytics and assists with our new business development efforts.

Before joining Juntos Marketing, Jess combined her studies with work at the public relations agency One Green Bean, where she gained experience in managing databases and organising events. She also has a strong record of casual employment, having worked in high-end retail and hospitality during her tertiary and secondary studies.

 

Katharine Milner

Guest Presenter and Workshop Facilitator

Katharine Milner has nearly 20 years’ experience in marketing, market research and business strategy and she regularly collaborates with Juntos Marketing in the area of training. Katharine is an experienced facilitator with particular expertise in strategic insight. For the past two years, Katharine has run her own market research agency, High Definition Insights. Before this, she was a member of The Wrigley Company’s marketing team, first managing its consumer insights area, and then heading up its strategy and innovation area. Katharine held a similar role at Kellogg, working alongside its marketing, sales and trade marketing teams as a senior market researcher manager.

She has worked with companies as diverse as Unilever, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Arnotts, McCains, Kraft, GlaxoSmithKline, Mars, Boots, Dowe Egberts, Clorox, the Australian Broadcasting Commission and Smiths Snackfoods to name a few. She also worked across many business sectors as marketing manager at Nielsen and in the not-for-profit sector as a researcher for Choice Magazine.
